CARDIO REPAIR EUROPEAN MULTIDISCIPLINARY INITIATIVE

A European Collaborative Research Project supported by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013). Grant Agreement: Collaborative Project-Cooperation-Health-F5-2010-242038.

These therapies, based on the in situ activation, multiplication and differentiation of the endogenous CSCs will be:

Affordable, in terms of the production costs of the medicinal product .
  • Readily and widely available, implying that the product may be easily stored and readied for application at all times at minimum cost.
  • Easy to apply and compatible with current clinical standard of care for AMI, including the widespread use of  PTCA interventions.

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Community’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement Collaborative Project - Cooperation - Health-F5-2010-242038
